The Rain in Texas falls mainly on the plain...
Oh, a rainy day in Texas used to be a rarity!!! :) Here are a few pics of Zoe enjoying her little Dora the Explorer umbrella in the rain.
Here's some jumps in some puddles...
...and a few more...
...and a great big smile!!! What a cutie patootie!!!
And here is little sister, Lenci, enjoying a swing at Memaw and Papa's house!!! Boy, the rain sure makes for some GREEN grass!!! Beautiful!!! :)

Finally!!! The pics from Mr. Caterpillar Friendy's release are here!!!
This is Mr. Caterpillar Friendy the 1st week. He grew to about an inch longer and much chubier than this eventually!!! Icky! I grabbed the camera immediately when I found him (or her) and snapped this!!! That's one of Zoe's little hats behind it so it is more clearly visible.
A real learning experience! Zoe was soooo excited!!! She agreed to let him go if she was the one to carry him to his new home! I was quite surprised that she was handling him sooo well!!! Lee was holding him most of the time!
Zoe really enjoyed this!!! She was in her element!!! She just let him crawl all over her hands and even her arms!
Lenci was not excited about this!!! Lee put it on her shoulder because he wanted her to get a turn, but that didn't last long!!!
Hence, her expression of anxiety! Lee felt bad, but you never know with kids! Honestly, if I had thought before hand who would want to hold him, I would have thought it would be the other way around! Hahaha!
This release was followed by many tears!!! She obviously doesn't understand in this picture what is about to happen! :( But now she tells strangers about how there is was a giant caterpillar in our house and we took it out to our front yard!!! Most adults then say "Awww, and now it's a butterfly, right?", to which she answers "No, it's a HUGE MOTH!!!" Hahaha!

My day
My friend emailed me and asked me what my daily life was like, so this was my emailed response back to her!!! I read it over to make sure that it all made sense, and then I thought I should just post it as a blog as well!!! ;) So, here it is! My day! "Hmmm...well, Lee leaves around 8am, so I get up with him, walk him to the door to dead bolt it and go back to sleep. I get up around 9am, just because that's when the girls and Asher wake up. I get them their breakfast and feed Asher. Then, and sometimes first, I make myself some coffee from Starbucks. I love their Espresso blend brewed regularly and I drink it black!!! :) It keeps me going, and it's my little treat for myself throughout the day! The girls love watching Caillou, so they watch that and then Barney and Seasame Street come on. They play and watch the shows at the same time, and Asher has started to "army crawl" so I let him down on the floor. I wish I could say that I have a structure of cleaning, but for now I am working on getting all of our laundry caught up! :) Hahaha!!! I feel like that is what I'm always doing, but that's okay! We have to wear clothes! :) Plus, when we moved we threw all of our stuff in plastic bags, and there were like 6 in Asher's closet! I have just finished the last of them today! I just started on them this past week. Hahaha! Anyway, while they are watching their little shows, I try to get either dishes done or laundry folded and put away! I have been getting them folded, but now I need to work on places for things that are too small or out of season. I have containers, just not enough. Or maybe the problem is TOO MUCH STUFF!!! ;) I have been giving clothes away like crazy! It feels great to know that the things that are not my "have to keep" favorites of the girls things, but are still nice, can help someone else!!! :) My neighbor has a daughter a little younger than Lenci, so it works out great! I have soooooo many things in that size (18-24 months). I think that must be when kids have hit growth spurts, because that is the size that my friends have passed down to me! Hahaha! Well, I get them their lunch and then they go down for a nap, and if I'm lucky they all take a nap at the same time!!! Sometimes I take a nap and other times I just catch up on my emails and myspace and stuff. They get up around 4pm and they play. We don't really go much of anywhere since Lee doesn't get off until 8pm, but every once in a while I will take the car and go places when Lee gets home...even if it's Blockbuster or Walmart! :) It just helps to get out of the house! That's my day...plain and simple! I have been subscribing to the Flylady and she has been emailing me! I now make my bed on a daily basis! It looks soooo inviting when I make it! In fact, the other day I left our bedroom door open. I usually keep it closed so the girls don't go in there and get into stuff, but I was trying something new! Hahaha! Well, of course I was looking around the living room and could not find Lenci, so I decided to look in our room...and there she was...in our bed!!! She was laying there with her head on one of the throw pillows and under the throw blanket that was on the end of the bed!!! It was soooo sweet I had to laugh...and then get the camera of course!!! Hahaha!!! Zoe ended up hearing the commotion and was able to join us for the photo shoot!!! ;) They were soooo silly! :) Well, let me know what your daily life is like! :)"

Hello again!!!
Well, lets see...I haven't written in a while. I got my other cavaties filled! Much better the second go around! I only had 2 to get done, and they were only on the top, so my whole mouth wasn't numb! :) I was actually able to talk afterward! I think that this last trip to the dentist has really lessened my fears! :) Praise the Lord! Also...Zoe is COMPLETELY POTTY TRAINED!!! I know that she could have been a long time ago, but I have just been too freaked out! I finally told her that she HAD to wear panties! I knew that day, when she came to me and asked if she could have a pull up just randomly, that she was already potty trained, but just in her way. Ever since that day she has only had one poopoo accident, and that was because she was playing at a friends house, and two teetee accidents, and those were because someone else was using the potty! She is OFFICIAL!!! I am sooo happy! It has made my life sooooo much easier to only have 2 in diapers!!! :) (I know, that's still pretty crazy, though!) Next is Lenci! I think I'm going to do things a little differently with her, but I'm not sure what yet!
Ummmm...went apartment hunting with my sister in law! That was a riot! It was the two of us and my three munchkins! Hahaha! I know that the ladies who showed us the different apartments were thinking we were crazy, but the kiddos were ALL soooo good! They even missed a nap and had lunch late after getting up extra early! I was so proud of them! Zoe and Lenci walked most of the time, and they were sooooo zonked when they got home! :) Those apartment guides (or whatever you call them?) were walking sooo fast, and I was carrying our big little mister in his carseat the whole time! It was fun to get out of the house and have a big adventure, though! I always love seeing apartments and open house type things! We found a great place for my sister in law to live, too! Very cute and cozy, and she'll be less than 2 minutes away (when she's not working)! :) Yay! Finally someone in the family who's close again! :)
And...it's June now! And raining at this very moment...which I LOVE!!! We are growing some tomato plants in the back yard, and God knew that I would be overwhelmed watering them! I am soooo thankful to Him for this WONDERFUL rain! Our plants are doing great!!! We also have some Hyssup Bean Plants that are now starting to vine!!! Yay!!! And hopefully our little raspberries will recover from the birds eating them all!
Oh, ya! Lee and I got to go on a date! It was soooo fun! We went to the Montgomery Plaza and ate at Gloria's outside in their little patio area under the strings of lights overhead! The weather was perfect, and it was beautiful! It was very romantic! We also got to go and look around in Pier 1 (with no kids), and we bought some beautiful artificial poppies for my little French hen pitcher, some great smelling room spray , and a glass head! Hahaha! Ya...that was Lee's pick! We were having sooo much fun with it! It's this hollow green tinted glass mold of a human sized head! You can put stuff in it, and it's see through, so Lee was like "I want this to put in my next youth office!" :) It is totally him, but we were putting fun things inside it like flowers and candy and...actually, right now it has a 7up can inside the neck and it looks like it's drinking out of another cup from a straw!!! Hahaha! Pretty silly! Makes for a great conversation piece. I'm really not sure where it will go while it's waiting for it's place of destiny! I don't really want it on our table! I'll post a pic of it once I get the pics off of our digital camera! For some strange reason our PC doesn't let me save pictures to it. The USB will not recognize our camera's hardware or something. I think it's too old...but that's okay cause Lee's laptop does fine with that. I may do that in a minute...
Lee made salesman of the month this month! It's his 2nd time! I'm sooo proud of him! He sold 21 cars! Yay! I am soooo thankful for this blessing! Lee works so hard for our family! It has been so nice to be able to pay our bills and to just rest in the Lord! We both know that we could not do this if it were not for the providing Hand of God!!! Everyday Zoe prays that Lee will sell a car! One day she told Lee that he had to sell 3 cars because that's how old she is...and 2 days later he sold 3 1/2 in one day!!! She was soooo excited! :) Plus, she learned that she was 3 1/2 that day! Hahaha! Well...I think that's all I can really think of right now! Hopefully I will get a little more time on my hands, but I'm preparing to have my dad here soon, so I don't know how much free time I will have! I like my quiet late nights! :) And then I really enjoy my dark black Starbucks coffee (self brewed) in the mornings! :)
Oh, ya! I'm getting ready to try out something new! I'm going to make a wreath. It has a Shabby Chic kind of feel...made from fabric strips! I'm soooo excited! I will post some pictures of my progress on this little project! :) Well, I'm going to post this! :) Lee's a little sick right now! :( Tomorrow's his early morning, so I'm praying that he feels better!
